Concoction of a Review:

This novella is built around a beautiful fantasy world. Fast paced and characters that MS adored.  Once you are finished you will feel lost.

Princess Leena is one of a handful of princesses in the Ourthura realm. Her sister is being married, as happy as Leena is she also cringes due to her being next in line to be married off.

Arranged marriages make one very Mad Scientist cringe at the thought. Perhaps, the thought of settling and/or being stuck in a loveless marriage freaks me out.  For Leena it was the same.

However, she had a beloved that not a soul knew about. Being ravished by the royal guard is enough for me to swoon. To have eyes on you in a lustful protective manner. Mikzahoq, her secret lover was the only other who knows of her secret ability.

Mad Scientist did rate this novella as only 3 blasts after reading awhile back. Yet, MS might have to rebuke her words. Since then MS has vastly recommended reading this short novella to many. It has stayed with me, even now weeks after finishing.

You may become hooked into a new world, but is that not what we all crave?

Insta Mad Steam {2}

************************

We found a beautiful Little Free Library during one of our weekend road trips.
{Big Fork, Montana}

Right next to it is a paved walk way that takes you around a cliff area where you may look down upon a rushing river that runs into Swan Lake.

MS is working at Salish Kootenai Tribal College this summer on what is to be the FIRST tribal satellite!!!

Here is the dorm the minions and MS are currently residing in.
{Pablo, Montana}

The Satellite will launch in August of 2015 then my name will be in SPACE!!!

Within Insta Mad Steam {1} MS posted a purchase of WanderLove by Kristen Hubbard. Wherein, MS is actually reading a book purchase via kindle.
{Flathead Lake - Polson, Montana}
.

Please do drop by my book review of Wanderlove from 2011.
Presently, it is only 7.14 for the Kindle.

Hungry Horse Dam is just south of Glacier National Park.
{Hungry Horse, Montana}

We are following the saying when in Rome do as the Romans.
{Polson, Montana}

Huckleberries are huge here. Huckleberry ice cream, huckleberry tea, huckleberry pie and so much more. MS is trying to huckleberry it up because we just won't be getting huckleberries like this in Wisconsin or anywhere else.

MS has been told that huckleberries cannot be domesticated. So one must know where the huckleberries are and one must beat the bears to them.
{SKC Dorms - Pablo, Montana}

Here we used Huckleberry Honey as a dipping sauce with some homemade chicken nuggets. However, it has been a slice of heaven in my mango hot tea. Yum!

Perhaps the curiosity has built up... Here is the Cube Satellite MS is working on. It is a wee 10x10x11 in size. However, there will be more than 60 grand put into this small cube.
{Salish Kootenai College - Pablo, Montana}

The red board is a place holder for the next three boards we are working on. On board will also include a camera for capturing shots of the earth.

Tipi reading area in the Salish Kootenai College campus library. MS could of curled up with a pile of books using MR. Moose as a pillow.
{SKC Library - Pablo, Montana}

The library is smaller than the Oneida Tribal Library but they have beautiful MAC computers.

Fury: Book 1 of The Cure

Publish Date:  March 25th 2014
Pages: 348 Pages

 Concoction of a Review:

Fury is one of those books that MS put off because she just was not sure. Please, understand that sometimes MS does not enjoy the Dystopia bandwagon books like others. Yet, this book was good in that way where MS felt as if she has been looking for this sort of read.

A novel wherein our abused main character, Josephine, races against time to find out what just makes her change into a most powerful human killing machine once a year.  The same day every year she turns into a violent rage apparatus.

Josephine has felt as if she was the only one in the world behind a wall among the cured population,"drones".  Sadness surrounded her with a disturbing youth in foster care & her sickness. However, Luke notices her.  Against all of his government training as a Blood he is still drawn to the tiny frail person that Josephine has become.

It was a push and shove relationship. MS really enjoyed the tug of war in Josephine's head over Luke, herself trusting another, the government, the resistance & even the simplest gestures of being touched in a non threatening manner. Imagine fighting yourself over having a few good things happen to you because nothing nice has even occurred. The poor dear.
"I'd make it so that there was no cure, no censorship, no propaganda, nothing buy you and I."
The unique idea of the cure taking away anger from every person was most likely hard to write. At points within, it was hard to read. At times, not only was anger missing but also fear which confused me. Other times it seems as if the cure messed with a person's complete capability to just go through a rational thought process.

It is a complex idea with adventure around many corners & was even hard as a reader to not stop and think about what a cure could really mean if it took away anger. How would you change??

Concoction of a Review:

Lynne & Tim are my heroes!!!

The Mad Scientist does believe that this book will be inspirational to anyone who opens it. Honestly, the Martin's live how my dreams unfold every night beneath the eye mask. Although, MS does make her way around the world quit nicely.

The darling couple dated when they were young things, however, they found each other later in life after their first marriages.  The attraction never left. One does think it would of been like a lightening zap after all of that time when they seen each other.

After they married Lynne felt reluctant to share with her dreamy Tim that she wanted more, more of the world. With doubts set aside they soon turned to planning. Excitement built as they set out on what would be an adventure for them and an inspiration to retired people everywhere.

The tales that Lynne tells of their travels made me wish MS was back on the road. Oh, how wanderlust tangles my heart!! Luckily my backpack is soon to be dusted off for the mountain valley of Pablo, Montana!

Within this very much engrossing page flipping travel affair they crossed over the invisible boundary into Mexico, took a cruise over the ocean, and rented a car to navigate their own way around. Glasses of wine were plenty while new friends were found as they figured out the how's, why's & do not's of traveling the world.

Pick this book and you will truly enter another world, within this world.
