Don't know what is in your library?
Want to share your books with others?
Curious to know what is in other libraries?
I am quite sure that I am not the only mad person who has spent time strolling through another's virtual library or digging through my own looking for the next beloved book to dive into or add to my wondrously long wishlist.
The Mad Scientist is also quite sure that with being surrounded by many many bound books that I am in no need of desiring more on a continuous scale that borders obsession. Of course, I really do not mean that...
Library Unveiled will allow you to share your personal library, bound or virtual, with the Mad Scientist and other bloggers.
Every Thursday stop by and share 5 books & perhaps a snippet of your thoughts or link to a review.

Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting! I read Body Finder and it was amazing. This book will be too! I can just feel it all the way in my twisted
The Mad Scientist went to the Dark Days of Supernatural in Naperville, IL. Yes, I've said this various times but look at that signed book! How, amazing is that! I would show the photo I have with her but then I'd have to seen my automaton after you to gather human flesh parts.
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting. Jen @ In the Closet with a Bibliophile told me to read this one. I finally read it & Guess what?! I LOVED this book! Amazing! I could hardly wait for Desires of the Dead to come out but I held out to buy it until I made it to the Tour so I could get this amazing autograph!
Thanks so much Jen!!!
Thanks so much Jen!!!
Vampire Empire: The Greyfriar by Clay and Susan Griffith. This book I happend to recieve in the mail from PYR. Thanks! I opened it up because it looked Steampunkery worthy to me. But I didn't go into it expecting anything. This book blew me away! I can quite honestly say this book is one of my favorites if not my favorite. I loved it so much I had to make a special Mad Love rating! I admit it is for more then just the Steampunkery element. It was everything. This book I highly recommend and will recommend this book above any other!

Papertowns by John Green is a book that I picked up when my local Borders was going out of business. If you can't see, it was 3.99 but then a extra 30% off. I couldn't not get it. I have heard many good things about this book. But I just have not made the time to read it yet.
What did you think of this book? Should The Mad Scientist read Papertowns?
Right now or later?

Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini is another ARC that I won at the Dark Days of Supernatural tour & in the process of reading as of late. However, I could literally kick myself if that was possible. I ruined this book already. On accident I assure you. I was traveling to 2 1/2 hours away so I gathered all I need for that night and the next day, tossed in a bin. Clothes, food to cook at my friends house, my Maragert George books for her to sign, the book I was reading (Starcrossed), extra shoes, ect... you get the picture. Well, in the food bag was a bag of scallops for this wonderful pasta dish that us girls love. Low and behold it thawed in this Wisconsin weather almost completely and dripped all over the bin. My clothes smelt as if I went shrimping (which is fun I might add), my book was ruined. :( As luck would have it my Maraget George books were on the right side of the bin & were just as good as slightly loved! Whew!
I'm sorry ARC, so sorry! Don't worry I'll replace you with a real deal.

Ohhh, I love the autographed copies! You're so lucky! The Body Finder was awesome. I still haven't read Desires of the Dead yet. I hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Mad!!! Yep, I'm back like a bad penny! :D I've been spreading the word about your gorgeous blog. I'm doing the Friday Follow Hop.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it is the cover and the title that tempt me to read the blurb. If the blurb reads great, I'll grab the book. I remember the first time I saw Harry Potter's book covers, I was like, O_o...not sure if I liked them. Love the inside but the covers weren't really to my taste.
Happy Follow Friday!!!
