*wipes brow*

It has sincerely been quite a week and it looks like this coming week will be a grand one for you.  I do hope that you do visit while much will be going on soon.

I do have a question that has came to me that has since not left my mind.  I would like to project this idea and question onto my wonderful followers.

I was thinking about obtaining a new pile of parchment along with a fresh pot of ink and quill to start a quote journal that I can fill with inky words from the books I read.  I wonder if I would find the same quotes to hit me durning re-reads or if my life at the time has myself identifying with particular quotes.

I can imagine a nice size quote journal being carried everywhere along with a pile of books.  Years of reading and years of acquiring quotes from between book covers can truly be a lifetime process.  Over time the leather binding of the journal will become soft to touch and full of words of wisdom from friends of various worlds and times.

Does anyone journal about the books they read besides through their blog?  Does anyone journal about any of their hobbies or their everyday life?

What do think of a quote journal, a regular journal or blog page?  If this is something that you would consider a most pleasing addition to your blog would you like to have a Quote MeMe to share?  Is this something that you would find unique yet valuable?

I'm wondering myself about these questions?  I sit pondering over this before I take myself into town to pick out the perfect journal for such a project.  Will I keep up with the words that envelope strike me?

Again, I  apologize of my absent posts and I look forward to seeing what you think of a keeping the words we devour so in a scrumptious journal to look over when we need a moment with fictional friends of the past.

  1. It's strange, I know, but I carry a quote journal everywhere I go. It keeps me sane, and it makes me remember the things I should remember in life :)

  2. mine is filled with random things that happen through the day or quotes or ideas for stories. stuff i'm contemplating on and yet have no answers to. its often a stress reliever for me and also carries cards, pictures, and notes from friends.

  3. I have two "journals" that are bookish - besides the blog, of course.

The first is a very simple one. I write the title and author of each book I read - along with the month and year I finish.

The second isn't so much of a journal as a running document on my computer. I am a very visual person, so I like to record sentences I come across that really paint a picture for me.

I love the idea of a quote page on a blog - we can sample these delicious sentences!
